The year of 1997 brought with it a new Christmas Tree Stand in Winchendon, Massachusetts (also widely known as Toy Town).   Winchendonian Paul Kachinsky coordinated with local land owner Ed Galat to combine efforts.  Ed would supply the trees and Ed and Paul will sell them.  Ed muses "Had so many darned trees I might as well sell 'em"  Ed began his tree farm in 1968.  History was made…

Ed scrutinizes each tree for its maturity, shape, eye appeal and color before cutting them down. 
"We will sell no Pine before its time" says Paul Kachinsky. 

The trees are fresh cut weekly beginning the day before Thanksgiving and go on sale the day after Thanksgiving.  You will not find a fresher tree shy of cutting one yourself.
